Kapitel 7
MONEY SYSTEM
True fulfilment does not come from external sourcesand cannot be bought with money. It comes from a deep connection with other beingsand the Earth, and from an inner alignment with our purpose in life.True fulfilment comes from living with an open heartand from the joy of giving. Our focus has shifted from making moneyto living a meaningful lifethat is oriented towards the well-being of all life.
7.A) A NEW MONEY SYSTEM
Our new ‘serving’ sovereign money – as cash and clearing system – has a real value standard, which is based on a defined basket of goods.
The money supply is controlled in such a way that the defined basket of goods always retains the same price, meaning that there is no longer any inflation or deflation.
Credit and credit interest rates as well as speculation are abolished.
The Gradido system presents a model for testing future money creation:
Here, money creation follows simple rules:
A certain amount of money is created for each person every month.
One third of the money created is used for that person's basic income (see chapter 7.c.).
The second third is intended for the community and all kinds of fair administration. For healing spaces, places of learning, universities, culture, road construction and so on. In this way, there is no longer any need to pay taxes.
The third third goes towards the renaturation, healing and preservation of our environment. Nature and environmental protection thus become a thriving economic sector.
The new monetary system is based on the natural cycle of growth and decay.
This also allows us to determine an ideal percentage by which the money supply decreases each year.
It therefore makes no sense to hoard money.
It is better, in terms of sustainability, to keep it in constant motion, to lend it, to participate in projects or to give it away.
Everyone is taken care of at all times.
The priority in our new culture is the health of the Earth and all its living beings, as well as the development of human potential. In our culture, money serves only as a real means of exchange, lending and giving for the needs of living beings.
.
7.B) INTELLIGENT "TAXES"
No one pays taxes or social security contributions.
This is because the second third of the money generated is already used to finance fair administration and similar services (see 7a.).
.

7.C) BASIC INCOME
"Since money is available in abundance,it has lost its importance. We have all become more generousand take great pleasure in giving gifts!"Gradido
Everyone, regardless of age, is entitled to an unconditional basic income.
This covers basic living expenses and enables a dignified life.
The basic income is based on the principle of give and take.
Every person is free to contribute to the common good according to their nature.
Some people enjoy working on nature regeneration projects, helping people in need, fair administration, road construction or the development of a community space. Others bake bread, make music, accompany or support other people. Some develop new designs or life-enhancing technologies that serve the community.
All activities promote the feeling of doing something truly meaningful and being useful.
They strengthen a sense of connection and solidarity between all beings.
If necessary, more hours are credited for “unpleasant work.”
.

7.D) REGIONAL EXCHANGE RATES
In addition to the supraregional currency and the associated unconditional basic income, each region has the freedom to establish individual regional exchange currencies.
For example, hours spent working for the common good and the community in addition to regular work are credited digitally.
So we can exchange for example an hour of fruit harvesting, fence repair or childcare for a box of vegetables, a massage or singing lessons.
.

7.E) THE LAND CAN ONLY BELONG TO THE EARTH HERSELF
We did not inherit the earth from our ancestors,we borrowed it from our children.Native American wisdom
Land (soil, earth, air and water) cannot belong to anyone and therefore cannot be speculated with.
The land is the basis of life for all of us.
Land ownership is being given a completely new definition: we have a ‘right of fair management’ over this piece of land.
We take responsibility for it, see ourselves as loving and mindful guardians and stewards of this piece of earth, and protect, regenerate and care for this place.
Animals, plants and the soil organism, just like humans, have a natural right to habitats that are appropriate to their nature.
Above a certain size, land is transferred to life-promoting projects, communities or foundations.
Local Wisdom Councils help decide which projects that build humus and society and promote community are implemented there.
This is how new nature reserves, regenerative farms, community gardens or orchards and all kinds of renaturation measures are now thriving.
We supported the regeneration of a significant part sof each region and then returned it to nature and its creatures. There, we support the healing processes for the benefit of all life and to increase biodiversity.
.

7.F) COMMON LIVELIHOODS
Companies, roads, springs, "raw materials", trading platforms, apartment buildings, and so on are fundamental to life and the economy—and no longer speculative objects that make our lives expensive and susceptible to manipulation.
We will find legal structures that protect these essential foundations of life and our new economy.

7.G) CROWDFUNDING AND OPEN SOURCE
"Donating is easy for us. It also gives us a feeling of happinessto have helped others."Gradido
Large crowdfunding or crowdinvesting platforms make it easier for entrepreneurs to obtain funding for their projects and connect with their backers.
Other platforms offer "open source" courses, images, videos, software, tutorials, and more, which can be freely used by anyone.
This allows creative works and new inventions to be disseminated quickly worldwide.
