Kapitel 8
MEDIA
Freedom of press, diversity of opinion, and independent reportingare self-evident.The media are carriersof positive solutions for the socio-ecological transformation of our planetand the regeneration of life. They primarily report on successful projectsand practical solutions.
8.A) MEDIA PREDOMINANTLY SPREADS INSPIRING SOLUTIONS
We are aware of the massive influence the media hason each individual,as well as on the collective.Because the thoughts and images we carry within usand which are amplified by our emotions, create our reality. The task of the media is thereforeto spread information and solutions thoughtfully and constructivelyand to support peoplein unveiling their full potential.
Journalists and media houses are aware that their messages have a direct influence on people's subconscious minds and thus contribute to the creation of a collective reality.
Dramas or disasters are presented in such a way that they are seen as challenges for developing solutions or for personal growth. The news are presented in such a way that they avoid to trigger fear.
Particular care is taken to ensure that the media primarily spreads thoughts and images that are solution-oriented, encouraging, and promote the highest good of all life.

8.B) MEDIA COMPANIES AND JOURNALISTS ARE FINANCIALLY INDEPENDENT AND FREE AND COMMUNICATE TRANSPARENTLY
The intention and ambitionof the new journalists lies in making the world aconstantly more livable place.
Journalists and media houses are funded by public funds and are therefore not financially or ideologically dependent on investors or financiers, as was previously the case with corporations or political parties.
Journalists clearly indicate their personal opinions on the topics they cover.
Facts are verifiable. Sources are communicated transparently.
Diversity of opinion and different perspectives are appreciated..
Investigative journalism is valued: people who, with courage, openness, and curiosity, uncover wrongdoing, conduct in-depth research, gather information on-site, and ideally also document and disseminate potential solutions.

8.C) ALL PEOPLE ARE ENCOURAGED TO FORM THEIR OWN OPINION
A critical approach to media is part of the curriculum in all areas of development.
Media reports are always questioned:
🌿 From what perspective and with what intention is something written?
🌿 What does this media house want me to believe?
🌿 "Cui bono" – who benefits if I believe it?
🌿 What worldview does this article attempt to support?
🌿 Does the article attempt to evoke emotions?
🌿 What other publications has the author produced?
🌿 Which institutions is the author affiliated with?
🌿 Who funds the author?
What does my common sense tell me? What does the intelligence and wisdom of my heart communicate to me?
Gathering information from more than one source, listening to different opinions, and weighing them against our own experience and perceptions trains our minds and our ability to differentiate, and can greatly broaden our worldview.

8.D) SOCIAL MEDIA
Social media platforms are also free of material that incites or glorifies psychological or physical violence.
People from all regions of the world come together to network, learn from each other, support each other, exchange solutions and a wide variety of ideas, or implement new projects together, and to develop an evolving swarm intelligence.

8.E) WE FREELY MOVE IN OUR ENVIRONMENT WITHOUT THE INFLUENCE OF ADVERTISING.
Public spaces, radio, and television stations are ad-free.
Physical signs direct you to local businesses.
Important information about non-local businesses and products can be found online.
Our attention rests freely and mindfully once again on the landscape, the people, animals, plants, and elements we encounter along our way.
